We will have a few available. Rubbish bag-everyone please collect your own rubbish to take home so no onehas a big bag to stuff in their car Chairs Bathing suit if you want to go swimmingNote: this is an easy ride on one of the best bike paths in NE—just beautiful. DESCRIPTION:Toros Roslin in Massachusetts:How Medieval Armenian Treasures arrived in the USA \n\n\n\nHeghnar Zeitlian WatenpaughThursday\, May 21\, 6:30PMArmenian Church of Our SaviourChurch Hall \n\n\n\nArmenians who immigrated to the United States brought with them with their families\, language\, culture\, and sometimes also sacred books and objects from their hometowns. Especially after the Armenian Genocide of 1915\, masterpieces of Armenian medieval art arrived in the United States. Some were later incorporated into the collections of some of the USA’s most prestigious museums. This talk will focus in particular on the works of Toros Roslin\, one of the greatest medieval Armenian illuminators. Several works signed by Roslin\, and others attributed to him are located today in American museums\, including the Canon Tables from the Zeytun Gospels of 1256\, today at the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles. Before arriving in Los Angeles\, the Canon Tables of the Zeytun Gospels spent decades in a family home in Watertown\, Mass. This talks tells the stories of families\, immigration\, sacred art\, and the movement to reclaim Armenian cultural heritage today.

DESCRIPTION:Anniversary Walk \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis year marks a truly special milestone in the life of our community as we celebrate the 135th Anniversary of the Consecration of our Church. \n\n\n\nFor 135 years\, the Armenian Church of Our Saviour—the First Armenian Church in America—has faithfully served as a beacon of faith\, hope\, and light\, spreading Christ’s message throughout our Diocese and beyond. \n\n\n\nTo celebrate our anninversary\, we invite you to join us for a special commemorative walk on Saturday\, June 20\, marking the anniversary of our church’s consecration and honoring our historic journey from the original church to our present home.LOGISTICS & TRANSPORTATIONWe will gather at our Church parking lot around 8:30am. Our Parish Council members will give you a ride to the original Church. If you would like to help with rides please let us know. After a prayer outside of the Church\, we will start walking to our church and we will complete the walk with a prayer service.  \n\n\n\nLet us come together in gratitude\, prayer\, and fellowship as we begin this sacred year of remembrance and celebration
