Dearundaraj Celebration at Our Saviour
It was a blessing to come together last night for a traditional celebration of Dearundaraj and the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord to the Temple. Following the Lenten Service in the Sanctuary we brought the light outside and lit the traditional bonfire. We danced around the fire and some of us even jumped over the fire. Afterwards we gathered for a delicious Lenten dinner. We are grateful that Hayr Ardag and Der Mikayel also joined us with their parishioners.
