What a difference from last year's weather! Some things, however, do not change from one year to the next, the food was delicious, the music was moving and the mood was definitely festive. This year, again, Irene Early and Adrienne Kabian did a great job in Chairing the Picnic. They worked as hard as ever as did their "crew". The ACYOA Jrs. helped the children pass the time in the Sunday School Assembly Hall by setting up games and other activivties. Just like the Postman, the cooking crew remained undaunted by the weather. The food was delicious (I think I said that already).

Even so, everyone had great time. The food was delicious, the music was moving and the mood was definitely festive. As we were blessed to have the Picnic in the capable and energetic hands of this year's co-chairman Irene Early and Adrienne Kabian, They were as equally blessed to have a hard working, organized, seasoned group of helpers who braved the heat to provide the best food in the city to those who attended.
The Women's Guild cooked up a delightful assortment of pastries, but the big seller was the watermelon. The ACYOA Jrs. manned the Moon Walk and provided youthfull assitance anywhere it was needed. They were also given the responsibility of running the games for the children. 12 people played in the backgammon tournament.
